Hello! Samantha is feeling well and enjoying her summer. She visits Dana Farber each week. Repeat lung films will be in about 4 weeks. Below are some photos as Samantha continues on her journey...
Samantha with her Make A Wish "wish granters," Denise and Elizabeth. Samantha and Rebecca were each outfitted with some great cowgirl attire, including PINK boots. We head off to Colorado next week and cannot wait! Thank you Make A Wish NH!
Last week Samantha picked Ms. Walker up from "the shop" (i.e., Next Step). Sammy's prosthetist made a bigger socket for the leg. The socket is the top part of the leg which covers the residual limb. If you enlarge the photo, you can see that the new socket was made with some special fabric Sammy picked out. Dogs! Physical therapy starts up again this week. It's time to get up and walking, running and dancing on Ms. Walker!
Grocery shopping has never been so much fun.
Sammy and two of her favorite counselors from dance camp, demonstrating one of the lifts that was so beautifully done during the recital.

Only two more days before I get to hug my two favorite animals, Brownus and Blackus. I do hope that you guys are being very loving and gentle with these gorgeous rabbits. Remember, during the past year, they had the very best times of their lives living in my beautiful basement. I hope you continue my habit of reading to them every night before they go to bed and tucking them in their hutch so that they sleep soundly. They are such adorable, precious little critters.

Hi Guys,
Bubba and I met someone we know you will love receiving a letter from....her name is Samantha and is called Sammi for short. She is a gorgeous and sweet Golden Retriever and is a special dog that goes to hospitals for children to pet or read to. Sammi lives just down the street from our house here in Florida and can't wait to meet you both one of these days. I have some great pictures of her as well.....
I will give you Sammi's letter as soon as we come home.....
We miss you soooooo much not to mention Lilly and Buddy...oh yes, your mom and dad too!!!!!!! Can't wait to see you all. Love you, Grammy
