Finally... an Update!!!!

Becca and Sammy at the Patriots Game. Go Pats!!!

Becca modeling the 2004 World Series Championship Ring at the Red Sox game.

Baseball games are more fun when you go with friends.

Teaching the kittens to use rehabilitative equipment (thanks, Grammy, for buying the walker, wheelchair and crutches for the American Girl dolls. Who would have thought that the kittens, and not the dolls, would be using it all???)

Ilian says THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Making Strides at the breast cancer walk.

We have been SOOO busy lately... the girls are in school, the parents are at work... the afternoons are filled with extracurricular activities, playdates, errands... the weekends are crazy busy with sleepovers, sporting events, and so on.... The girls missed out on so much living last year so they have a lot of catching up to do!

Sammy continues to feel well on her medications. She's grown so much since getting her prosthetic (Miss Walker) last May that she recently had to have it elongated by over an inch!
For those of you looking for something fun to do in early November, check out Capital Center for the Arts in Concord. Sammy and Becca will be modeling in the American Girl Fashion Show. Sammy will be up on both legs for the show. Their shows are the afternoons of 11/3 and 11/4. Proceeds are managed through the Concord Junior Service League, ultimately helping women and children in the Concord area.

To everyone who brought gifts for Ilian, a HUGE thank you from Ilian and her family come your way. Ilian is doing well post-surgery but still has a long road ahead of her. Our next visit to Boston will be on 11/8. If you wanted to drop off a gift at our house for Ilian but didn't make it in time for our last visit, we promise to bring it to her at our next visit.
And finally, huge thank yous go out to our friends who continue to support us through these crazy times. Mitch and John, THANK YOU for getting the girls primo seats and field time at the Red Sox and Patriots games. Nancy, THANK YOU for taking Becca and Sammy on the breast cancer walk. And Laura and Dan, THANK YOU for continuing to always think of and include our family. We were so touched by your gesture of dedicating the first hole to Sammy at the Tee of for Taylor Golf Tournament.

Keep the postive thoughts and energy coming our way. We love you!!!!

Shari and David
