Thank you Uncle Jonathan and Wendy. The girls have now discovered Gameboy and the TV is off! (Parents, feel free to weigh in on this one. Shari thinks Gameboy is just as bad as TV. David appreciates the interactive nature of the toy).
We have some new dates for upcoming inpatient admissions to Dartmouth (chemo):
8/11 for 3-4 days
8/18 for 3-4 days
8/25 for 3-4 days
Sammy is doing OK but her leg hurts a lot. We went to Dartmouth a couple days ago for an x-ray. Thank goodness, there is no fracture. There's a lot of swelling and Dr. Chaffee has some good ideas about how to help Sammy out. Sammy's got to use her crutches at all times now so get prepared to sign them!
For those of you who know Sammy well, you can appreciate why we call her the "Fashion Police." Get ready to see some new trends that Sammy hopes to set... bigger and better hair pieces, hats and accessories.
For now, we still stay at home most of the time. Grammy and Bubba love to come over and play. We promise to let everyone know when Sammy is up for visitors.
