Hello. Here's a quick update: Sammy returned late Tuesday night from Dartmouth after a 4 night stay. Our family is making new friends at the hospital and seeing lots of familiar faces every time we check-in. Tomorrow morning we go up for another round of chemo. Yuck. School starts on Tuesday. Most likely, Sammy won't be there for a while though you will all see Becca for sure. Sammy will have a tutor and be able to keep up with the class. Rebecca has GRACIOUSLY agreed to get dismissed a little early every day so that she can go to Sammy's classroom to pick up any relevant materials as well as drop off Sammy's completed assignments. Additionally, Rebecca is more than eager to answer any questions people may have about Samantha. So please don't hesitate to ask!
Sammy is very upset that she will be missing a lot of school. Please remember that Sammy may look a little different, given the "wig thing," wheelchair, etc. Nevertheless, she is still the same old Sammy, who loves to read, play, dance, shop, and gab with friends. Cancer is NOT catchy so please welcome her back to school when she makes it in.
We hope to see everyone soon and, again, cannot thank you enough for your warmth and kindness.

We love being able to get on your website to see what is going on with you, your treatments and the family.
We know Becca will be a good courier and take your completed assignments to school and pick up new ones for you as well...after all that is the type of thing a big sister should do.
We know you are going back up to Hanover tomorrow and we wanted you to know that come this Tuesday we are leaving for a trip across the Atlantic Ocean to Spain. We will attend a wedding in Durango, Spain on September 1st, spend some time in that area as well as a few days in Madrid.
This all means we will be out of touch until September 8th but we will be thinking of you, Becca, Mom & Dad each and every day we are away.
