Greetings from Dartmouth

Hi. We never made it down to Boston today because Sammy was admitted to Dartmouth on Sunday, 9/3, for some pain management issues. It's been a tough stay thus far but Sammy is getting through it. We should be home within the next few days. Shari is staying at Dartmouth with Sammy and David, Becca, Grammy and Bubba visit.

We'll let you know when we return home. For those of you chefs out there who signed up this week, please BRING IT ON even though not everyone is home. David and Becca could still use some good home cooking and they bring food up to the hospital, too.

As always, thank you for your support!

Shari and David

Shari, David, Rebecca and Sammy,

We just wanted to make sure you knew how much we appreciate the updates, even during the more yucky times (like the last few days sound like). Samuel, Isaiah, Betsy and I are all thinking about you all a lot. Samuel is not a big fan of hospitals either. He spent two weeks at Dartmouth a couple of years ago, and now hardly ever has to go there. We are hoping the same for you!!

We hope you are back home by now, or very soon,

Dan Habib

Sammy and family: Keep hanging in there....better days are coming.I have been where you are and know first hand what you are going through. My grandaughter Erika just turned 7 and has been in remission since May. She is doing fabulous and is happier than ever.
My daughter Michelle and I are both available if you ever feel the need to talk.
Sincerely,
Jean Johnson
