A Quick Update

Hello. We are all in our hotel room scrambling to get ready to head off to Disney (compliments of ABC). So I must be brief...

Yesterday we relaxed in bed for a while before heading off to American Girl Place. Our FIVE HOUR DAY started with a lunch at the store's cafe. Three dolls joined us for lunch. The girls took great care of them while David kept looking at his watch.

Then it was time to shop! David excused himself and went outside in "The Grove" to read. Becca and Sammy had the full attention of a personal shopper, Ann, who took the girls around the store again, and again, and again, making lists and checking them twice...

Finally some final decisions were made and an obscene amount of money spent. The girls had their photos taken with their new dolls and we left the store. David had read for the first two hours and hung out with Nicklas the rest of the time. They really had fun so it was productive for all of us!

Next it was off to Hollywood to check out the area around the Kodak Theatre. We met up with Auntie Laurie and the boys who are HUGE American Idol fans. Cousin Ben saw some of the stars and was really excited.

We returned to the hotel to crash. That brings us to today. Time to go get in the limo!!!
