Sorry for the delay in posting a new blog... There are a few things people have been asking us about so here are some updates:
Sam the cat hides under the bed all day. He is very sweet and likes our affection as long as he's in the mood. He lets Sammy stroke his residual limb because she knows that's important for healing and she has lots of experience. We love him very much and are so glad to have him.
The new leg: Sammy's prosthetic leg may be ready by the end of this week! She has been going to Next Step in Manchester and getting the fittings done. We are all excited.
The lung surgery: it's on hold for now. After reviewing the latest lung scans, Sammy's doctors think it's best to look at some other medication options. The lung surgery is no picnic and we certainly don't want Sammy to go through it until it's absolutely necessary.
So that's the scoop.

Glad to hear that Sam the cat is doing well and is receiving lots of love, he couldn't have found a better home! We are hoping and praying that the meds will help avoid any further surgeries for Sammy...I think you've all been through enough already! hi sam and becca! wow dancing with the stars! how exiting! we looked at your rooms on the internet and they were just amazing! I wish our hotle rooms in the past were just like those rooms. you should have a blast you might see Miley Cyrus there because she would be in the family booths because of her dad, right? there are so many exiting things to do in hollywood. you might see stars on the street! you desverve (or how ever you spell it)every little bit. enjoy your trip(although I'll problby see you befor your you leave)I'll miss you Becca at the recorder concert. that means Emma gets a solo!
