Thank you to everyone who signed up to feed us. We are all getting so fat.
We are so glad to be back home. The best part is being back with Rebecca. Rebecca spent a lot of time with her grandparents while Sammy, David and Shari were in Boston. As soon as we picked up Becca, we felt whole again. She gives us the energy and humor we need to get through all of this.
Samantha, overall, has been doing well. She actually insisted on going to school on Tuesday morning for "Sharing Time." Her sharing involved taking off all of her bandages and showing off her 42 stitches. She's a crazy girl. We are so proud of her because she seems to realize that she should be proud, and not ashamed, of her battle scars.
Phantom pain continues to be a challenge. Otherwise, Samantha is working with her physical therapist and getting stronger by the day.

Sammy...
we are so glad you are home and in your own house with your downstairs quarters. They sound very nice from what Grammy Lois has told us.
You amaze us with your energy and your desire to get back to school and be with your classmates and friends.
We know Aunt Laurie is there now so you and Becca should have a ball with her. And next week is the trip to Concord and to the Governor's celebration of St Patrick's Day as we understand it.
We will be thinking of you, Becca, Mom, Dad, Aunt Lauir, Grammy Lois and Bubba Mike all through the week.

Skylar was so glad to see Sammy at school so soon after her surgery! He was so impressed that she showed the class her stiches. What a brave girl Sammy is!
