Today was a much better day for Samantha. Her pain is well managed and she is off of the IV pole. What wasn't so fun today, and what turned out to be very hard work, was working with physical therapy. Thank goodness David is such a good coach. He keeps Sammy on track and doesn't let her give up.
The doctors tell us we will not have to return home until we are "comfortable." We're fairly certain that we will be comfortable by Monday, after we have had a chance to line up all of the post-operative services that Samantha will need at home. So, we're here 'til then.
