Sammy continues to do well though she is having a lot of pain that the "pain management team" is addressing. There is a possibility that Samantha could be discharged home tomorrow, assuming the pain is under control. Her bandages have been off SINCE YESTERDAY and Sammy is eager to get rid of all the tubes, too. As much as Sammy loves playing the Wii game that's here in the playroom (she's been out of bed since yesterday morning), it would be great to go home.

Sammy, you are amazing. You always were amazing, but now, you are becoming famous!! Doing paintings of governors...meeting all these people...giving talks before an audience! I can remember when all you did was snitch M & M's from the candy dish in my office. You are on my mind every day and just remember, nothing ever stays the same and the day will come when all this nasty stuff will be over and you won't even remember what the pain was like anymore. I am counting the days!!!
