The first day of school wiped Sammy out so she stayed home today. Thankfully, she found the strength to go out for lunch and ice cream with me and Bubba but then it was time to return home and get back into bed. Sammy talks of returning to school but, for now, we'll just take it day by day and try to catch up on some work at home until Sammy feels up to going in.
Sammy has been feeling dizzy the last couple of days. We have some oxygen at home for her to use but sammy wants NOTHING to do with it. we're not even sure whether the O2 would help with the dizziness so we have decided to try it out first on Bubba ;) See you tomorrow, bubba!!!
auntie laurie is flying in from oregon today and we can't wait to spend the weekend with her.
becca's braces are really bothering her. she's been taking exceptional care of her mouth and can't wait to be able to eat normally again. it freaks me out to see how grown up she looks with braces on.

Sammy - Jack loved seeing you at school Wednesday and hopes you can come in again soon. Sounds like you are being very well taken care of at home (no surprise there), especially having treats with Bubba and getting a visit by Aunt Laurie!!
Becca - hang in there with your new braces. It will get better, but I can certainly remember it isn't much fun sometimes. Another thing I remember is that our orthodontist was a really cute former Pro Football player so my sisters and I LOVED our office visits!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with Aunt Laurie! You are an amazing family and you continue to inspire all of us to live better lives day by day, and especially to not sweat the small stuff.

You guys are so lucky to be able to visit with friends around a bonfire and make smores in the middle of the summer! It is 100 degrees in the shade down here as we anticipate the next hurricane to make landfall in Miami. Sammy and Becca, what was the name of that tatoo place on south beach? I am thinking about getting one and want to go to the place you visited when you were here. Any suggestions for the tatoo? Love you guys. jani

Hang in there as well, I wish it wasn't as uncomfortable as it is. If I recall correctly, it lasts about 2 weeks and then you can tollerate more things.

I think of you all the time and wish I could be half the parent you are with these two loving, beautiful and "crazy" girls. You guys are awesome and I miss you terribly. Thanks for all the updates, stay well and I can't wait to hear from you again.
